Ingredients :
- Boneless fish - 250 grams
- Boiled potato - 2 medium sized
- Onion - 1 ( finely chopped )
- Green chillies - 2 ( finely chopped )
- Mint leaves - few chopped
- Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
- Chaat masala - 1/4 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- All purpose flour / Maida - 3 tbsp
- Water - as needed
- Bread crumbs - 1 cup
- Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - for deep frying
Method :
- In a pan, add fish, turmeric powder and salt. Add sufficient water and boil for 10 minutes.
- Strain and shred it.
- In a bowl, add shredded fish, boiled and mashed potato, onion, green chillies, mint leaves, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, pepper powder, chaat masala and salt.
- Mix well and form as a firm dough.
- Take a portion and form as pattice and keep aside.
- Take an another bowl, add maida and water and form as a paste.
- Take bread crumbs, red chilli powder and salt mix well and keep aside.
- Now take one pattice, dip and coat with maida paste and roll with bread crumbs.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Add deep fry in hot oil till it turns nice golden brown in colour.
- Strain from oil and drain excess oil on paper towel and serve hot.
Note :
- You can also freeze in zip-lock pouch before frying and store upto 1 month.
- While needed thaw only required pattice 15 minutes before and shallow fry it.
