Sweet maida biscuits






Preparation time : 20 mins
Cooking time : 10 mins


Ingredients : ( 1 cup = 240 ml )
  • All purpose flour / Maida - 1 cup
  • Powdered sugar - 1/2 cup 
  • Hot oil - 5 tbsp
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Oil - for deep frying

Method :
  1. Make maida in a bowl. Add powdered sugar.
  2. Pour hot oil. Knead to a soft dough by adding little water.
  3. Roll like a chapati, it should be slight thick. Cut into small cubes.
  4. Deep fry in hot oil till golden brown in colour.
  5. Drain from oil and store.
Note :
* It has shelf life for 10 days in room temperature.

Take maida in a bowl

Add powdered sugar 

Pour hot oil 

Knead to a soft dough by adding little water.
Rest aside for 15 mins 

Roll like a chapati. It should be slight thick

Cut into small cubes 

Deep fry in hot oil 

Till it turns golden brown in colour.

Drain from oil. Strain on paper towel 

Store
