Bread cutlet | Simple and easy bread cutlet

Ingredients :
  • Bread slices - 4, large 
  • Potatoes - 2 large, boiled and mashed
  • Sweetcorn - 1/4 cup, boiled
  • Capsicum - 1/4 cup, finely chopped
  • Onion - 1, large, finely chopped
  • Green chillies - 2, finely chopped
  • Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala - 1/4 tsp
  • Chaat masala - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Lemon extract - 1 tsp
  • Cornflour - 1/2 cup
  • Oil - for frying 

Method :
  1. Take a bowl, roughly chop bread slices.
  2. Add mashed potatoes, boiled sweetcorn, capsicum, onion, green chillies.
  3. Add chilli powder, garam masala, chaat masala and salt 
  4. Squeeze out lemon extract and add cornflour.
  5. Mix well and knead to a soft dough.
  6. Divide into small portions and give desire shapes.
  7. Shallow fry in hot oil.
  8. Flip and cook on both sides till it turns slight golden brown in colour.
  9. Strain from oil and serve hot.

Roughly chop bread slices 

Add boiled and mashed potatoes 

Add boiled sweetcorn 

Add capsicum

Sprinkle cornflour 

Knead to a soft dough 

Divide into small portions 

Give desire shapes 

Shallow fry in hot oil 

Flip and cook till it turns nice golden brown in colour 

Strain from oil 

Serve hot
