Chicken bread masala






Preparation time: 10 mins
Cooking time: 25-30 mins
Serves: 2

Ingredients : ( 1 cup = 240 ml )

Bread slices - 10
Onion - 3 medium
Tomato - 3 medium 
Chicken boneless - 1 cup
Green chillies - 3
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - 2 tbsp
Coriander leaves - few

Method :

1. Finely chop onion, tomatoes and chicken in cubes.
2. In a pan add oil, saute onion til soft. Then add ginger garlic paste, tomatoes and green chillies cook for 2 minutes.
3. Add chicken pieces mix well and cook for 5 mins.
4. Then add all spices(red chilli pwd, coriander pwd, pepper pwd, turmeric pwd, garam masala and salt) mix well.
5. Cook until the chicken is done and oil separates.
6.Toast the bread slices without oil and chop them in bite size pieces.
7. Then add the bread pieces to the masala and coat well. Cook for 2 mins on high flame.
8. Sprinkle coriander leaves and serve with raita.

Finely chop onions 

Chop tomatoes 

Cube the boneless chicken 

Heat oil in a pan, add onions 

Saute till it turns soft

Add ginger garlic paste 

Cook till the raw smell goes 

Add tomato 

Add green chillies. Cook for 2 mins

Add chicken pieces 

Cook for 5 mins 

Take chilli pwd, coriander pwd, pepper pwd,
garam masala, turmeric powder and salt 

Add to it 

Mix well and cook till the chicken is done and oil separates 

Toast the bread slices without oil till it turns slight brown 

Chop into bite size pieces 

Take chopped bread pieces 

Add cooked chicken masala 

Coat well with masala and cook for 2 mins on high flame 

Serve hot with raita
