Preparation time : 10 minutes

Serves : 3-4 persons
Ingredients : ( 1cup = 240 ml )
- Olive oil - 2 tbsp
- Cinnamon - 1 inch stick
- Cardamom - 3 pods
- Cloves - 2
- Bay leaves - 1
- Onion - 2 medium sized, chopped
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
- Tomato - 1 medium sized, chopped
- Broccoli - 200 grams
- Frozen peas - 1/2 cup
- Salt - to taste
- Boiled potato - 1 large, cubed
Green masala paste :
- Coconut - 1/4 cup
- Cashew nuts - 1/4 cup
- Fennel seeds / Sombu - 1 tsp
- Green chillies - 3
- Coriander leaves - 1 cup
Method :
- Take a mixer jar, add coconut, cashew nuts, fennel seeds grind to a coarse.
- Then add coriander leaves and green chillies. Grind to a smooth paste by adding needed water.
- Heat oil in a pan, pop cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and bay leaves.
- Saute onion till its soft and translucent. Add ginger garlic paste fry till the raw smell goes.
- Add tomato, cook for 2 minutes. Don't cook till its mushy.
- Add grinded paste and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add broccoli and frozen green peas. ( If using fresh peas, boil till its half done then add to the curry)
- Add half cup of water and salt. Mix well.
- Cover and cook for 5- 10 minutes.
- Add boiled potato. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
- Serve hot with poori or chapati.
