Mint chutney - for chaat






Preparation time : 5 mins
Cooking time : 0 mins

Ingredients : ( 1 cup = 240 ml )
  • Mint leaves - 1 cup
  • Coriander leaves - 1.5 cups
  • Green chilli - 2
  • Ginger - a half inch piece
  • Salt - to taste
  • Sugar - 1/4 tsp
  • Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
  • Water - if needed

Method :
  1. Take all the ingredients in a mixer jar.
  2. Grind it to a fine paste, add water if needed. 
  3. Store in a airtight container.
  4. Serve with all variety of chaats.
Note :
  • You can refrigerate it for 3-4 days. 


Step by step pictures of making green chutney : 

In a mixer jar add mint leaves

Add coriander leaves

Add green chillies, ginger, salt and sugar

Squeeze out some lemon

Grind to a fine paste. Add water if needed

Serve with all variety of chaats
