Preparation time : 15 minutes
Cooking time : 5 minutes
Makes : 10 - 12 sheets
Ingredients : ( 1 cup = 240 ml )
- All purpose flour / Maida - 1.5 cups + for dusting
- Salt - to taste
- Ghee - 1 tbsp
- Water - as needed
- Oil - for greasing
Method :
- Take maida, salt and ghee in a bowl. Mix well.
- Add needed water and knead to a soft dough.
- Divide the dough into 12 and keep aside.
- Take one dust into flour. Roll into 6 inch diameter.
- Make same as with the other one also.
- Take one part grease with oil and sprinkle some flour.
- Cover it with the another rolled part.
- Press gently and start rolling again.
- Roll in the form of very thin chapati.
- Cut into square.
- Place it on a hot tawa.
- Cook on both sides for 5 seconds.
- Then remove from the tawa.
- Gently peel from the edge and divide the sheets to two.
- Use immediately or cool, wrap with aluminium foil and store in a zip lock pouch and freeze it .
- Whenever needed throw out from the freezer 30 minutes before, stuff seal and fry.
