Fish fry






Preparation time : 5 mins
Marination time : 2-3 hours
Cooking time : 10 mins

Ingredients :

King fish/ surmai/vanjaram - 1/2 kg
Red chilli pwd - 2 tsp
Coriander pwd - 1 tsp
Pepper pwd - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Turmeric pwd - 1/2 tsp
Cornflour pwd - 2 tbsp
Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
Egg white - 1
Oil - for shallow frying

Method :

1. Except fish mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and form a smooth paste by adding little water.
2. Coat the fish pieces one by one in the masala paste. Cover and keep aside for minimum 2 hours.
3. Take a wide pan heat oil arrange the fish pieces. Flip and fry on both sides.
4. Fry well till its crispy.
5. Serve hot.

Take all the powdered ingredients and ginger garlic paste

Add lemon juice

Add egg white

Mix well and form a smooth paste. Sprinkle some water if needed

Clean and wash the fish pieces

Coat with masala

Cover and keep aside for 2 hours

Shallow fry in oil

Fry till it turns brown and crispy

Serve hot
